What's on the print
- The course. The race route, drawn from OpenStreetMap street data – not copied from any official map.
- The elevation. The course's climbs and drops, drawn under the route.
- The numbers. Distance and elevation gain from the course. Time and average pace only when you add a time.
- The city and the date. The city as the headline, "26.2 mi · race date" beneath it. Never the race's name.
- Their name.
- A small OpenStreetMap credit, because the streets come from their map data.
FAQ
Can it ship straight to them?
Yes. Enter their address at checkout. The emails about the finish time go to the email on the order – yours – so the surprise holds.
Do I need an app, a file or their login?
No. The course is already drawn. You pick the race, type the name and, if you have it, the time.
Is it their own GPS track?
No. It's the race course, the same route for everyone who ran it. The name and the time make it theirs. Have their run file or a share-card photo? Upload it on the main product page and we draw their own recorded run instead.
Where do I find their finish time?
Marathons post results online – search the runner's name on the race's results page. Type it as hours:minutes:seconds, like 3:45:12.
What if the time never comes?
We email you the day after the race and once more 7 days after it. If there's still no time 14 days after race day, we print it without one: the course, the elevation, the distance, the city, the date and the name, with no empty boxes where the time would go.
What does the print show?
The race route, the elevation under it, the distance, the city and race date, their name, and – if you add a time – the finish time and the average pace worked out from it.
Why isn't the race's name on it?
The name belongs to the race. The city, the date and 26.2 mi tell anyone who ran it which race it was.
Can I change it after ordering?
Change it or cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of your order.
What if it arrives damaged?
We reprint it. No argument – send a photo within 14 days.
