Using their own run? If they shared their Strava image to an Instagram story, a screenshot of that story works – no need to ask them.
You'll need their run: a .gpx file or a photo of their Strava share card.
Your GPX file gives the full sheet: route, city, elevation and up to six stats. A share-card photo gives distance, time and pace only.
Welcome back – here’s your preview.

How do I export my run as a GPX?
Prefer a GPX file? Find your app below. These export steps were checked against each vendor's help documentation.
A photo of your screen does not read: save the share card, then upload the image file.
A hilly run works too. On one, Strava prints Elevation where the pace normally sits. Your sheet then states distance and time – one stat fewer, and no pace we did not measure. If you want the pace on it, send the .gpx export of that run instead, as below.
Strava, as a GPX export
- Open Strava in a web browser and sign in.
- Open your activity, choose the more (•••) menu, then Export GPX.
- Upload the downloaded
.gpxfile here. Strava’s mobile app does not provide this export.
Garmin Connect
- Sign in to Garmin Connect in a web browser.
- Choose Activities → All Activities, then open the run.
- Choose the gear icon, select Export to GPX, and upload the downloaded file here.
Apple Fitness / Apple Watch
Apple Fitness does not offer a one-run GPX download. Apple’s built-in export is a full Health-data XML archive, which Traceform does not accept in round 1.
- If the workout already syncs to Strava, open that activity on the Strava website.
- Choose more (•••) → Export GPX, then upload the downloaded file here.
- If it is only in Apple Health, use a Health-compatible route exporter you already trust to create a GPX. Review that app’s privacy terms before granting Health access.
COROS
- Open the COROS app, choose Activities, then open the run.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right and choose Export.
- Select GPX, save or share the file to this device, then upload it here.
Nike Run Club
Nike documents an account-data download, not a single-run GPX export.
- In a web browser, open your Nike account settings and choose Privacy → Download Your Data → Request Data.
- Nike says the download link can take up to seven days. Check the archive for a GPX route file.
- If the archive does not contain GPX, Traceform cannot accept that run in round 1. A run already synced to Strava can be exported from the Strava website instead.
We accept a Strava share card as a PNG or JPEG, or a GPX file. We do not import activity links, accept files by email, or connect to accounts.

Adjust colors & words
Choose your finish
Their run, drawn from their own data. Upload their share card or GPX export and see the real route before you pay. The headline and the line beneath it are yours to write. We print the preview you see without the watermark.
Set large beneath your route – a place, a race, or your own few words. Two lines at most. Leave it blank and the distance leads instead.
One sentence under the headline – why this run mattered, who it is for. It fills the open space above your stats. Leave it blank and that space stays quiet.
Add your own words to the open space inside your route. Leave it blank to keep the route clear.

From friends
Five friends, five runs on the wall.
My first marathon took me 5:12. I walked quite a bit near the end, so for a while I kept qualifying it whenever anyone asked how it went. I ordered this a few weeks later and put it next to my desk. Funny thing is, I don’t look at the time much now. I look at the route and remember actually getting round it. The medal is still in the drawer, but this I see every day.

Bought this for my husband after his first marathon. He’s very particular about shoes and watches, and I didn’t want to guess. I used the Strava image he’d saved from the race and added a line about all those early Saturday mornings. When he opened it, he started pointing out where he’d seen us along the route. We spent about twenty minutes talking about the race again. It’s now above his desk.

Most of my race stuff lives in the spare room. I chose Paper / Ink for this one, and we hung it beside the bookshelves in the living room. A friend asked where we’d found the print before realising it was my run. That was pretty much what I was hoping for—something personal that didn’t look like race merchandise.

I liked the idea, but $199 was enough that I wasn’t going to order from the example pictures alone. I uploaded my GPX, checked the date and time, and switched between two finishes a few times. Seeing my own route in the preview helped me decide. I went with the framed version because I know myself—otherwise the print would have sat in its packaging while I spent three months choosing a frame.

I used the six-mile loop my dad and I used to run on Sundays before I moved away. Nothing impressive about the pace, and there wasn’t a finish line. I added the name we always called that route, which wouldn’t mean anything to anyone else. Sent him a photo once I’d hung it up and he immediately mentioned the hill we both hated. Glad I picked that run rather than my fastest one.

Before you make yours
The practical questions
Why more than a $40 race poster?
A race poster prints the same course for everyone. Yours is drawn from your own run, on archival paper, and you see it before you pay. Print $119, framed $199, a second print of the same run $69, US shipping included, plus sales tax where your state charges it.
Is the frame included?
Yes. The $199 print arrives in a black wood frame with a white mat and plexiglass in front and hanging hardware on the back, ready to hang. The $119 print comes unframed. Both are 18×24 inches (46×61 cm).
My own route, or the course map?
Your actual route. We draw it from the file you upload – the image Strava saves when you tap Share, or a GPX file – so it shows the way you really went. Want the official course instead? Pick your race on the race page.
When will it arrive?
We expect it by the date next to the price, anywhere in the US except Washington State. The print travels rolled in a triangular tube, the framed print boxed with corner protectors.
Ordered today, it arrives by .
Can I change it after ordering?
Yes, for 24 hours after your order – the sentence above the Buy button says exactly what you can change or cancel. If it arrives damaged, send a photo within 14 days of delivery: we reprint it, and you don't send it back.
I have the medal. Why a print?
The medal says you finished. The print shows how: your route and your stats, drawn from your own run. Hang them side by side.
What if my share card doesn't read?
You'll see it straight away, before you pay. Upload the card as your phone saved it – a photo of your screen or a chat-app copy loses the digits. If it still won't read, send us the photo and we'll make your preview by hand.
What happens to my file?
We use it only to build your print. If you preview and don't order, both are deleted after 24 hours – or after 30 days if you asked us to email you a link back to that preview. If you order, the file is deleted once your print file is made – at the latest 30 days after upload. Details: Privacy Policy.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. If their race is on our race page, pick it and add their name and time – no file needed, so it stays a surprise. Otherwise choose Gift and upload their run, or leave your email to finish later. Put their address at checkout.
